To set up your Outlook.com / Live.com custom domain pop3 mail in your email software, please use the below instructions.
You will _first have to activate POP on your Outlook.com / Live.com account to be able to set it up in your email software. To do this, you need to go to More Mail settings after you have logged into your mailbox. Then look for "Connect devices and apps with POP". Click on it and select Enable and click Save.
You are now ready to set up your email account as pop3 in your email software.
Username: FULL email address
Password: The password for the email box
Account Type: POP3
Incoming Mail Server (pop3): pop3.live.com
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): smtp.live.com - Outgoing SMTP mail server authentication should be ON, OR you can use your internet provider's smtp server with authentication
Incoming Mail Server Port: 995 (SSL must be ticked and enabled)
Outgoing Mail Server Port: 587 (TLS must be ticked and enabled) or Port 25 if you use your internet provider’s smtp server
